Afterhours
The darkness of night is being 'overshadowed' by light pollution from artificial lights that burns 24/7 over the urban metropolis. In Singapore, it is for a fact that the public spaces and pathways are lit for pedestrian safety, and office buildings are illuminated long into the wee hours of the morning.
In this project, I set out to document the central business district after dusk; in the wee afterhours. Exploring the streets to investigate and document the light pollution in the hub of trade and business.
I experimented with the images I took and laid them over each other to create a double exposure effect which led to interesting results.
